I. About the Academy

A school built around the student,
not the curriculum.

Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your musical needs and goals. We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach.

A seven year old having their first guitar lesson will have very different needs than a fifty year old taking up piano for the second time. At your first lesson your teacher will ask about your favorite music, then build a plan around the songs and goals that actually matter to you, or your child.

II. Private Lessons

Five instruments & More!
Every style.
One song in thirty days.

30-60 minutes, once a week, all ages. We teach pop, rock, country, metal, jazz, blues and hip hop, from the riff you've had stuck in your head for years to the theory underneath it.

Guitar

Electric and acoustic, taught by ear and by sight. Always end with a riff you love.

Monday-Thursday 3:30-8pm

Bass Guitar

Lock in the groove. Feel first, theory close behind. Walking lines, slap, sight reading.

Drums

Time, dynamics, four limb independence. Rudiments through full kit grooves.

Classical fundamentals layered with the pop and worship music students want to play.

Once a year our students perform for family and friends at our Spring Showcase to over 300 guests. Nobody is required to perform, but the ones who do tend to find that the bench, the kit, guitar, bass and microphone start to feel like home.
