Drum lessons at Pinnacle start where the student is. Brand-new students get pads and sticks, build the basic rudiments, and learn to count out loud. Intermediate students move onto the full kit and tackle groove vocabulary across multiple styles.
We focus on feel before fills. Strong time, steady dynamics, the ability to listen and respond. Once those are solid, the technique chops follow naturally.
Lessons take place on a real kit. Students don't need their own at home to start, a practice pad is enough.
Sticks (any pair). A practice pad for home practice is strongly recommended.
