Every Pinnacle family gets access to our private student portal. It's where the rest of the week happens: messaging with your instructor, swapping practice clips back and forth, and handling tuition with one tap.
The first meeting is short, casual and free. There's no audition. We use the time to find out what music you love, what your goals are, what's worked or hasn't worked in past lessons, and whether the schedule and teaching style fit.
For young students, parents are welcome to sit in. Bring an instrument if you have one, but you don't need to. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you and try to point you somewhere that might be.
Every Pinnacle instructor has passed a national background check and completed Ministry Safe certification training. We take the trust you place in us seriously. Parents are welcome at any lesson, anytime.
Tuition is billed monthly through the student portal. The interview is free. We send a simple rate sheet once we know which instrument you're starting with, since some instruments (drums, voice, piano) involve different equipment and lesson setups.

Most instruments start cleanly around age six or seven, when reading skills and attention span are ready for a focused thirty minute lesson. Piano often starts at five. Drums work well from seven up. For voice we usually wait until eight. Best plan is the free interview, where the instructor can read your specific child and give you a real recommendation.
For the interview, no. To begin weekly lessons, you'll need an instrument for at-home practice (piano students need a full size keyboard or acoustic, drums students need at least a practice pad). We're happy to recommend a beginner-friendly model and a local shop where you won't get oversold.

Parents are welcome to sit in on any lesson, anytime, no notice required. If anything ever feels off, we want to hear about it first and fast.
Yes, always. Some students learn better with parents in the room and some without. Both are fine here. We do ask that observers stay quiet so the student gets the full thirty minutes of focused attention.
Life happens. If you let us know at least twenty-four hours ahead, we'll do our best to find a makeup slot in the same month. Same-day cancellations are harder to make up but we'll work with you. The full policy is in the Student Application packet.
Every Pinnacle family gets access to a private student portal where you can message your instructor between lessons, send recordings of what you're working on, and receive lesson notes, sheet music and backing tracks. The honest answer is that students who use it tend to progress about twice as fast.
Tuition varies slightly by instrument and instructor and is billed monthly through the student portal. The interview is always free. Once we know which instrument you're starting with, we send a simple rate sheet you can take home and discuss before committing.
Twice a year we host an informal showcase for family and friends. Participation is optional. The new summer camp also ends with a Friday performance for every camper. For students who want more, we help them find local open mics, school auditions and church band placements.
